This is the broadest layer of protection, covering defects in materials and quality in all parts supplied by Mazda for three years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. Three shorter provisions sit inside it. The original 12-volt battery is fully covered for the full term.

Service adjustments, meaning minor work such as wheel balancing, alignment, and headlight aiming, are covered for the first 12 months or 12,000 miles. Air conditioner refrigerant charge is covered for the first 12 months, regardless of how many miles you drive.

Powertrain Limited Warranty: 5 Years or 60,000 Miles

Powertrain coverage runs longer, protecting the components that actually move the vehicle for five years or 60,000 miles. That includes the engine, the transmission and transaxle, and the front and rear drive systems.

On hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and mild hybrid models, the same warranty extends to the electric motor, inverter, DC-DC converter, electric vehicle (EV) transaxle, on-board charger, and the 48-volt mild hybrid battery, so electrified components carry the same five-year protection as conventional ones.
